Cobwebs
Like a cobweb’s lacy overlayÂ
Over a knobby trunk
So too is your wordÂ
My filter, my guidebook
When my focus rests too far
The ugliness pervadesÂ
Only faintly, there are linesÂ
Tracing boundaries for each placeÂ
Make them easier to swallowÂ
When the picture swallows meÂ
The truth illuminatedÂ
By whispered lines you've revealed
Treat me not in accordance with my lack of faithÂ
But by your abundant heartÂ
Whose riches drip off the words of lifeÂ
That you speakÂ
Through the linesÂ
